Joe Capps is a guitarist and recording engineer living in northern Vermont, in the Burlington area. His recording studio — Poker Hill Studio — is a hot-spot for area musicians looking for high-quality, affordable recording. The studio is home to current and vintage gear, and Joe is a veteran engineer who has recorded every genre under the sun.

Joe’s band, The Joe Capps Group, is a flexible mix of some of the area’s finest jazz musicians.

Joe teaches guitar and recording technology at the University of Vermont. He earned his Bachelor of Music from the Berklee College of Music.
